Disability Services Office

The Disability Services Office offers accommodation coordination to help you be successful during your time at Ridgewater College. These accommodations may include, but are not limited to:

  • Assistive devices
  • Course selection and program advising
  • Testing
  • Note taking
  • Sign language interpreting 

An individual with a disability is defined as any person who (i) has a physical or mental impairment that limits one or more major life activities, (ii) has a record of such an impairment, or (iii) is regarded as having such an impairment.

It is Ridgewater College policy to provide on a flexible and individualized basis services to students who have disabilities, in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act.
