Phi Theta Kappa - Willmar

Our meetings will be held in the Club Hub Room which is A215 on Thursdays from 11 a.m. - 12 p.m.

The purpose of the Alpha Eta Zeta Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa shall be to recognize and encourage scholarship among Ridgewater students.

To achieve this purpose, Phi Theta Kappa shall provide opportunity for the development of leadership and service, for an intellectual climate for exchange of ideas and ideals, for lively fellowship for scholars, and for stimulation of interest in continuing academic excellence.

Eligibility for Membership

To be eligible for membership in Phi Theta Kappa, a student must be enrolled at Ridgewater College, Willmar, have completed a minimum of 12 credits, be either a part-time or full-time student, and have achieved a cumulative grade point average equivalent to, and not less than, a 3.5 on a 4.0 scale.

Active Membership

To be eligible for continued membership in Phi Theta Kappa, a student must be enrolled at Ridgewater College, Willmar, be either a part- time or full-time student, and must maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or above.

  • Reaching out to students in need by encouraging, nurturing and guiding them toward college completion
