Phi Theta Kappa - Hutchinson

Membership

Eligibility for Membership

To be eligible for membership in Phi Theta Kappa, a student must be enrolled at Ridgewater College, Hutchinson, have completed a minimum of 12 credits, be either a part-time or full-time student, and have achieved a cumulative grade point average greater than or equal to 3.5 on a 4.0 scale.

Active Membership

To be eligible for continued membership in Phi Theta Kappa, a student must be enrolled at Ridgewater College, Hutchinson, be either a part-time or full-time student, and must maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or above.

Meetings

 

Starting the Fall semester of 2015, PTK will hold meetings the first and third Tuesday of each month 12-1 p.m. Meetings are held in the Club Hub (Room 407).

  • Mon., November 16: PTK Orientation, 2-3 p.m.
  • Tues., November 17: Regular meeting, 12-1 p.m.
  • Wed., November 18: PTK Orientation, 10-11 a.m.

Mission

Phi Theta Kappa's mission is two-fold:

  1. Recognize and encourage the academic achievement of two-year college students
     
  2. Provide opportunities for individual growth and development through participation in honors, leadership, service and fellowship programming.
