The Marketin​g and Design program offers students classes in marketing, sales, advertising and promotion, spreadsheet and databases, multimedia on the web, color theory, image editing and several other courses that relate to multimedia web design and marketing. Students will learn how to analyze E-business data and make recommendations on how to best reach an organization’s target market (customers).

The program offers graduates an opportunity to enter a dynamic, creative, and rapidly growing industry that is one of the fastest growing and most diversified fields of employment. Students who complete the Marketing and Design program will find employment with organizations that have websites or need websites developed, but are also in need of someone who can coordinate all the marketing needs of the organization with consistency to the design and implementation of the company or organization's marketing plan.

Students are responsible for providing their own laptop and software.

Current research indicates a high demand for websites and Internet services. Businesses are looking for individuals who can develop and maintain websites along with having other marketing skills that include sales skills and skills in developing promotional materials. The Marketing and Design program is designed for the people who desire a career in all aspects of marketing a business.

Responsibilities may include website design and maintenance and integration of the customer database into the marketing and customer service aspects of the company or organization. This person could be responsible for coordinating all the marketing functions, including sales materials, brochures and related marketing materials of the company. Graduates will find employment with educational institutions, government agencies, or small- to medium-sized businesses or organizations. Many students may decide to start their own consulting businesses.
